House Training For Dogs – Why it is Essential
House training is undoubtedly the best gift that you can give to your dog or puppy to show him your love and affection. Although not all the behavior problems can be solved by dog in-house training but once the dog owner learns the basic training techniques, he or she is half the way in getting rid of other behavior problems since the basic foundation has already been laid. By training a dog, you are teaching your pet to communicate with you (dog owner), so that your dog understands clearly what you want him to do. This involves training a dog very basic commands such as come, sit, stay, off etc.
All dogs love to socialize and if not given training, they behave just like any other animal in the wild. They will give their owner a very tough time. It makes the relationship healthy, strong and trustworthy and above all it makes life more pleasant together with your pet. The reason why a well trained dog is happier than an untrained dog is that he is allowed a higher degree of freedom. On the other hand, an untrained dog will always be creating problems for his owner.
Many people have an understanding that it is easier to train a puppy and almost impossible to train an older dog. This is not true. The right time to train a dog is RIGHT NOW. Dogs change their behavior constantly regardless of their age. A dog who is trained to behave well continues to do so in future. On the other hand a dog not trained for behaving well will never do so until he is taught how it is done. House training for a dog is essential for both the dog and its owner since it is the basis of a very pleasant and trustworthy relationship between the two.
Always keep this in mind that training a dog to obey his owner is something that cannot be achieved in a day or two. It requires consistent effort from the owner.
